SHO—ZYG, ‘sound installations, exhibitions and performances from artists at Goldsmiths, University of London’. There will be a concert and other events next week (from 21st September). Found via Jotta, which has links to videos, including Hydro-Acoustic Study [sketch Part I] with sound by Francisco Lopez and visuals by Paul Prudence. Prudence’s work, like the ‘visual music piece’ Parhelia, emerges in real time, with ‘evolving geometric forms [that] gradually increase in speed and complexity in direct relationship to a mechanized sound-scape.’ Intriguing and mesmerising. More images of Parhelia at Prudence’s flickr stream.
