is now coming to you live from Kuala Lumpur, a very high tech place with no facility to get photos off a digital camera and onto another computer.... it's all to do with cables, or lack of. Frustrating. We're constantly lagging one week behind.
Just outside Kuala Lumpur lies the 'silicon suburb' of Cyberjaya
. It's pretty much a building site at the moment, but the country is hell-bent on bringing the very best companies out here to make it their Asian base. What's jarring is the juxtaposition of empty highways, empty building sites and, presumably, thousands of kilometres of cable just waiting for data that hasn't yet arrived.
We're also practically sitting on top of the Suria KLCC
, one of the capital's largest shopping centres, which calls for a bit of exploration. Of course, anyone with any top tips of what to do and see is more than welcome to add a comment or drop us a line
